Privacy Policy

• Contact details: your name (and company name for businesses), phone number and email address.
• Location, if you give it, to check that we serve your area and to plan a site visit.
• Your electricity bill, if you upload it or send it to us later, to size a solar system for your usage.
• Photos of your roof or building, if you share them, to assess space and plan the installation.
• Notes from our conversations with you, such as calls, site visits and quotes, so our team can follow up properly.

We do not ask for bank, card, Aadhaar or other government ID details through this website.

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry: to contact you, assess whether solar suits your property, visit the site, prepare a quote, and, if you go ahead, install and support your system. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other companies for their marketing.

We process it because you give your consent by ticking the box on the enquiry form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Only the SunDrape team members who handle enquiries, each signing in to our system with their own account. We use a few service providers to run that system. They store or carry your information for us and may not use it for anything else:

• Railway hosts our website and the database where enquiries are stored, on servers in Singapore.
• Resend sends our team an email when a new enquiry arrives.
• Cloudflare routes visits to our website address.
• OpenStreetMap turns your position into an address, only if you tap the button to use your current location on the form.

Your information travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is stored in a private database that only signed-in team members can reach. We keep it for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to support your installation and warranty, or until you ask us to delete it.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct or update anything that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, or stop using it by withdrawing your consent;
• nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to.

Email us at sundrape@tavasya.com with your name and phone number so we can find your enquiry. We will reply as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Our public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A sign-in cookie is used only by SunDrape staff when they log in to our enquiry system.

Our services are meant for adults. Please do not send us an enquiry if you are under 18.

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and its date. When you send an enquiry, we record which version of this policy you agreed to.
